Implementing UET tag (Microsoft Ads) for variable revenue tracking

Has anyone been able to implement variable revenue tracking without Google Tag Manager or complicated JavaScript?
I found this support article on Microsoft for implementing UET variable revenue tracking using Shopify, which makes me wonder whether there's a similar way to do this with OpenCart using the {{ price }} tags from product pages. Thoughts?
