Hi Opencart support,

our client has the site https://www.planetcandy.ie and it stopped sending order confirmation emails suddenly yesterday evening. We did not touched nothing except one thing - installed the Paypal payment module. We tried to switch from mail to smtp protocol but it didnot help. There are no emails from planetcandy.ie site even in exim mailq. Please advice.

It looks like you are using the Journal3 framework which isn't supported here, but they have their own support here. Your site is 80% non-Opencart.

Having said that, you should check your SMTP settings. You can do a simple test using your Contact page which uses the same SMTP details, just to narrow it down a bit.

Check the error logs, ask your hosting tech support if there has been an issue sending emails.

Besides the PayPal module, what else did you change?

Does uninstalling the PayPal payment module fix the issue?
