Hello. Opencart v3.0.3.2 and Journal 3. I'm getting an error with the mail on my 3.0.3.2 site. this is the file path "/public_html/system/library/mail/smtp.php". It's an e-mail from the contact page, but there's a problem with the order mail. Orders fall to the missing order section. this is the contents of the error file.

Could be a timeout issue or that your mail server doesn't like something you are sending. What is SMTP Timeout set to and have you tried a higher value?

Temporally change system/library/mail/smtp.php line 330 to the following. This will add more information to the error message that might tell you why your mail server doesn't like the email.

Code: Select all

throw new \Exception('Error: DATA not accepted from server! Reply=' . $reply);
If your host has configured it correctly, you could try the Mail and the Mail Engine. But use a online email deliverability checker to check it's configured correctly.

thank you for your response. When I pay the test, the confirmation message appears as if the transaction was successful, but the order falls to the missing order section. There's no return to the mail box because of this incident. I don't see the result of your solution. There's nothing wrong with the contact email. Emails sent from the contact form fall into the mail box.

Your mail server provider thinks the emails your are sending are spam. You need to speak to your provider, change provider or try the Mail engine as I described earlier.

If using cPanel, and a decent hosting package, you can also check your SPAM filter to clear out your parametered emails from OC. It might be possible that your email has been filtered and simply needs to be whitelisted.

If using cPanel, and a decent hosting package, you can also check your SPAM filter to clear out your parametered emails from OC. It might be possible that your email has been filtered and simply needs to be whitelisted.
