Hi all
I have been wandering into the settings for my store and saw that opencart has built in stock settings for notifying customers that an item is out of stock and adding the stock quantity to thhe customer display. I thought they would be useful so I turned these settings on. However, the stock amount is not listed on the customer side, and customers can add out of stock items to their cart without a warning until they go to pay (stock checkout is turned off).
I am using version 3.0.2.0 and have some payment extensions (paypal standard, eway), a postage calculator (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... h=shipping), an extension to modify tax display (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... with%20tax) as I don't live in the US and we do tax differently, and an extension to calculate coupons after tax is included (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... fter%20tax).
I'm not sure whether the settings are working exactly as designed but I might have had the wrong idea about what they were supposed to do, or whether something has gone wrong. I have attached an image of the settings I'm referring to, which can be found by going into system, settings, clicking edit on your store and heading to options.
Any help would be appreciated.
catalog => product => data tab => Out Of Stock Status

Yeah, thats a thing. Type "opencart disable add to cart when out of stock" into google for many answers to that.

If your extensions are OpenCart standard-compliant and don't modify template files, then you shouldn't have problems with a new theme, provided your new theme isn't one of those rubbish ones. Otherwise you'll have to ask the extension authors to modify their extensions to work with your new theme.
