I use Journal Theme and i have opencart 3.0.3.8 version . I wish to inform the client when he put an order to receive an email confirmation about his order.

Can someone help me? I did try using some extensions but none of them worked for me .

OpenCart does send an email to the customer when they place an order. If that is not working it could be your mail settings.

You will have to explain more clearly what functionality you are after if it is not sending an email to the customer when they place an order.

Email sending problems are pretty common these days you should consider paying a developer such as ourselves or post a job in the Commercial Support Forum.

When a client order something he will not receive any email about his order that was been confirmed or registered.

If me as admin I will go and change the status of order lets say to confirm status then he will receive an email. I need even when he order from first to receive an inform about his order that was been registered succesfuly.

Client does not receive it ... I see what you tell me but does not receive it. If I change STATUS of order then he will receive an email.

What version of PHP are you using? What mail settings are you using?

Check your mail_order_add is there and enabled in your events (under extensions).

Check both your PHP and OpenCart error logs.

Check any mail server logs to see the outgoing email was delivered and not marked as spam.

You would need to ask Journal support if there theme makes any changes to the mail system.

Looks like it was a problem of EXIM about limit: "Maximum line length for SMTP transports" , error: message has lines too long for transport .

I did enter to WHM EXIM CONFIG and increase the length of message.

If you are using Mail and the Mail Engine then it could be this issue. https://github.com/opencart/opencart/pull/10269
