1.5.5.1 - Help with Mobile Friendly Design

Hi folks

We're running 1.5.5.1 and would like to make our site mobile friendly / responsive - we've looked at omframework as an option, but would need help customizing as our site has a custom theme + extensions and edits. If anyone has any suggestions, or has done this before to be able to quote, please let me know via pm. We're looking for a very simple mobile friendly theme that does exactly what our desktop site does.

Well, for your Version, a range of free Theme Extensions exist, and most
of the simpler one's, NOT based on Bootstrap Technology, might still
have some minor issues, but that all can be fixed easy:

I once created a Test Site, containing such RESPONSIVE Themes,
to give you a basic Idea, how they look like, un-modified, but still
good enough to get a first impression:

It's not, what we are used to, in today's Bootstrap World, still,
and depending on the Requirements, it might be sufficient.

Real BOOTSTRAP styled Themes are technically a little more comprehensive,
and today standard. Most of them only need a few minor fixes only, to make 'em
look great.

A very professional Bootstrap type Theme Extension can be found here:

it's worth, looking at it, because it belongs to the good one's, and details,
like changing colors, are quite easy to do.
Personally, I would not decide on an Extension, like the one you mentioned,
because your existing Extensions could run into a problem, trying to handle
such.
