150+ simple HTML pages have to be migrated into OpenCart.

Requirements:
  • Pages have to be migrated without ANY loss of styles and scripts on each of those 150+ pages.
  • The migrated pages have to look and function exactly as the original pages do, no loss of styles and scripts.
  • Migrated pages HAVE to be editable using an already existing Catalog > Information extension.
  • Headers and footers don't have to be migrated, I want to use the store header and footer instead.
About the pages:
  • All of the pages use CSS libraries and custom CSS files.
  • All of the pages use JS libraries, jQuery and custom JS files.

Well, you could just use the INFORMATION Section, to achieve such. The only
potential problem is the CKEditor (or Summernote), because they tend to change
a few things, if one tries to edit Code online, after it's been uploaded.

I always create INFORMATION Pages locally, and then add and save the Content
in SOURCE Mode, then, it will be visible exactly as I made it. And if I still have to
change a few things, I change them in my local source again, and upload it as
Source and save it in Source Mode only.

Code: Select all

Thanks everybody for attempting to give some support for problems with
the platform. Your effort was highly appreciated for as long as I used OpenCart.
It might also depend on the OC Version one uses, to make life a little easier. It's
the major reason, why I still use the most simple OC Design and Version ever created. ;)
But I don't want to argue with those, always believing in 'latest is best'.

And as long as my 1.5.6.5 Version handles even latest PHP 7.4x Versions without any
problems, after only replacing the encryption.php file, for those, not requiring
'latest' Code Wisdom and Routines, it's still a valid alternative, to avoid problems, without
the need of getting familiar with 'Events' and other new OC 'Technologies' first, and/or
depend on Pro Support. ::)

Good Luck! :D

I just want to get the job done by a professional who loves web development. I don't really want anything to do with the code anymore, ever. It's nothing but issues and frustration to me to work with this platform.

Hello,

We hope you are doing well.

We can migrate your HTML pages without any loss of style and features, it would be better if we can discuss it in person.

Thanks!!!
