Taxes calculated on shipping rates

I am using Opencart Version 2.0.1.1 . During Checkout the Taxes are calculated on Shipping Rate, i want it to be calculated on Sub-Total.

I have tried changing the order of Taxes and Shipping in Order Totals Extension but nothing works.
if i am making the sort order of Taxes 3 and that of shipping 4 then, the taxes are not at all displayed in the checkout page.



See the attached image, i have set Sales Tax to 6%. The 6% sales tax is calculated on Free Shipping Rate and not on Sub-total. I want it to be calculated on Sub-Total.

Tax Classes can be applied to products and shipping methods. If applied to products, then they'll be taxed. If applied to shipping methods, then the shipping cost will be taxed.

It sounds like you forgot to add tax classes to your products.

Exactly! i was not adding tax classes to my products and was adding it to shipping methods. Thank you so much Johnathan you made my day.
