Need help to limit 1 coupon/discount per order

Hi,

I have OC 1.5.6.4 (http://www.4rissa.com)

I would like to limit coupons/discounts to 1 per order. This includes Free Shipping (I'm using a Country-Based Free Shipping module, not the OC default Free Shipping module). I also have a First Order coupon module, and use the OC default Coupon options. I would like for a customer to only be allowed one of these discount options since I am receiving too many orders with stacked discounts.

Your issue is not very much clear to us.

Are customers being able to stacks coupon code on your website? It shouldn't be possible because it is not Opencart default functionality.

Do you want to disallow customers to use coupon if Free shipping is available for them?

I have a custom "Country-Based Free Shipping" module, and a custom "First Order Discount" module in addition to the default OC coupons.

My new customers are combining the default OC coupon, a first order discount AND Free Shipping. I would like there to be a limit of only 1 per order.

Returning customers are also combining the default OC coupon and Free Shipping. I would like the restriction to apply for them also.

Thank you for elaborating the issue, now it is clear to us.

We have now checked your both third party modules - "Country-Based Free Shipping" and "First Order Discount". They both are not checking if their is already some discount on the order.

To limit customer to use only one discount at a time, you need to modify both of these module code to add the condition.
