Checkout Paypal Standard gives BAD_INPUT_ERROR page

Good morning, I am having a problem with my opencart 2.3.0.2 store, with checkout using Paypal Standard payment module.

The checkout process works fine, but at the final step when I press the "Confirm Order" button, which I presume should then pull up the Paypal screen to allow my login, I instead get the Paypal screen BAD_INPUT_ERROR "Things don't appear to be working.", the URL is:

I have looked into the forums here for old posts on this same problem, with no success in finding the resolution to this, the older forum posts did not seems to give any exact resolution that works. This problem appears to have been happening since opencart 1.5 version.

I have set debug mode "enabled" in the admin page extensions/modules for Paypal Standard module, but I am seeing nothing in the system/storage/logs error.log which has current date. Is there another place I should be looking?

Everything else in my store works correctly now, I got https to work with certificates correctly (I needed to reinstall apache/httpd on my server!), I very much like opencart!

Check for any extra spaces or other characters in your PayPal credentials entered in the module. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling the module.

Does it happen on every order or just with some products?
