I have purchased a large number of extensions to date all with the same Company / Business Credit Card.
I was preparing to do a scheduled piece of work before the start of business day/week tomorrow and discovered that there seems to be some fraud prevention that has halted the order despite receiving the final confirmation page that the order was successfully placed.
No emails received to state it was held due to Anti Fraud and what to do to resolve, no email to confirm order or email to confirm the order failed.
So unable to download the extension, and don't dare buy the others I needed today... it is a Sunday in my time zone, so one most likely has to wait for someone to manually review this I assume, in their time zone, when their Monday morning starts.
Is this really required to be done this way in 2018 ? I have not come across this in ... ... well now that I think about it... never... to date with online purchases. and I have been purchasing online for as long as it was possible to do so.
It seems archaic, and it's very limiting when trying to work on allocated time blocks for a task.
Should one now buy extensions directly from the developer's own sites now ? (The Dev for the extension this matter concerns does sell it off their own site and I am seriously considering doing so I can stick to the intended work schedule, but then may end up with a double charge and need to spend time following that up)
I liked the convenience of having the history etc in the one login area, but being limited by old school anti fraud when working to well carefully planned timelines is more of a problem than the convenience of having a central repository.

As OpenCart is selling digital goods, they will need to protect their sellers from fraudulent purchases. The orders are flagged up by fraud prevention system, and it will usually take one business day or less for them to verify your order.
For future readers, please write in to OpenCart immediately if your order is assigned the "Waiting for Proof of ID" status. Moderators on the forums wouldn't be able to assist.

Actually, it's far from being archaic. I use order approval on my site as well. I approve orders for particular extensions or countries and, like MarketingSG said, I do this to protect my products. Same is valid for OpenCart Marketplace and a lot of other places, where orders require approval.

It will usually take 1 business day or quicker if you open a support ticket with them.
I am having the same problem. This is ridiculous, I need to get some urgent work done!
The Alt Box, built using Opencart 2.0.3.1.
when you say with them do you mean the developer of the mod? or with opencart themselves?MarketInSG wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2018 11:43 amIt will usually take 1 business day or quicker if you open a support ticket with them.
Contact OpenCart as you've paid to OpenCart.
Opencart use automatic fraud detection system. If there is some kind of miss match (3DS, Street address, Zip code, Name etc) during the payment process than it is normal they will hold the release of extension. The best way is to get in touch with them to resolve the issue quickly.
