I've revamped my policy three times and I'm curious of other's.
First I started with no returns except for a couple exceptions. Then I changed it to 35% restocking fee with a couple exceptions. Now I think I'm settling on free returns until abuse (twice in 6 months) after that 35% restocking fee. If you don't have an account then it's a straight 35%.
I'm doing this to prevent the amazon effect of the 30 day rental. I figure this one is the best balance that wont scare away buyers...at least too many buyers.
Does anyone else have a novel approach....feedback?
Depends what country you are in and therefore what laws apply and potentially whether B2B or B2C.
In Europe, the B2C laws and regualtions are quite clear and defined and "No Returns" isn't an option.
