I have been running OC since 1.5.x. I ran with 1.5.6.4 for quite a long time until I did a successful upgrade to 2.3.0.2 and now have a successful upgrade to the maintenance branch 3.0.3.8 on a test store.
To me that is a long way to go and has the possibility of introduced issues.
From what I can tell MB-3.0.3.8 works but I just updated to it yesterday as a test.
Anyone have an opinion on if I should do a 100% scratch install and then port over the customers, orders and products or think if my upgraded site doesn't puke it should be fine?

One more thought. I am certain by the time I finish my testing and adapting my scripts to 3.x I will be many new orders/customers behind. Anyone use a method that works to import the last 50 or so customers/orders from an old store to a new one?
Thank you,
Mike

100% scratch installation and integrate your database afterwards is better with this scenario.
