Is there an easy way to do this? I looked around but couldn't see a solution for this for 3.6.0.6

Okay, where do I find a suitable firewall, bad traffic blocker, captcha and spam blocker extensions that you speak of? There's way too many on the market, can't figure out which one would actually work.
Can you please share how to disable the form if you know how to do it, since you mentioned it can be done.

Here's a few extensions to consider:

The rough way to remove the contact form would be to remove it from the contact page file as below if you're using the default theme. The correct way would be to use a Vqmod or Ocmod.
/catalog/view/theme/default/template/information/contact.twig

Does it actually work?JNeuhoff wrote: ↑Sat Nov 19, 2022 10:53 pmOr you could use the SpamBot Buster which is able to distinguish between genuine human users and spambots, and which rejects the latter not only for the contact page, but it also prevents fake account registrations, amongst others.
I have never used an extension like this before. How does it function? What is the mechanism?
Where do I remove it within the contact.twig? Should I comment something out?
Of course it works. It uses an invisible honeypot trap field which only robots will fill in. Also, it checks for certain keyboard/mouse/touch events for the form submissions which robots usually fail to trigger.

Thank you, it sounds interesting. I will check it out.

you can also do this on your stylesheet.css:
Code: Select all
#information-contact form {
display: none !important;
}
