Hi,

I was interested in buying the Geo Currency Detect extension for our website in open cart. Before going ahead with the purchase I was wondering if there is demo I could see.

Hello. You can do that currency only changed when you first enter the site?
Now there is no possibility to choose another currency if necessary. Previously, you did such a possibility for the version of opencart 1.5

hi i have this ticket open #703826815169 , orders still not working from Admin when me i create for my customer order for other country like Swiss the currency is not change to CHF , even i did set like this from your module.

Please reply me is very urgent for me this problem.

Thank you for your patience and apologies for the delay in the communication.
As explained, our extension works only on front end. It detects your visitors country from their IP addresses and automatically switch the currency.
The extension is not designed or have any currency switch functions in the back end functionalities.

This does not work with OC 2.3.0.2. When installed manually (ocmod.zip does not work) and trying to enable it Extensions -> Modules -> Auto Currency I'll get: You do not have permission to access this page, please refer to your system administrator.

I contacted to support but no reply.

Does this work with OC 2.0.3.2? Are you going to update this to work also with OC 3.x versions?

If currency is set to be for ex. Sweden (shipping address) to be Swedish Krone SEK. Can customer change it to some else currency even the goods are shipped to Sweden? I would need an extension which change currency on checkout page to set currency/country if it has been different before that.

Hello and thank you for your interest in our extension.
The module will enforce a currency for everyone from a specific country. Meaning they won't be able to change it even if the choose something else from the top menu.
Usually when our module is installed, the module for choosing currencies should be disabled.

Hello and thank you for your question. It really depends on the caching module to be honest. Some of them are caching only few SQL queries, others are caching the entire output (generated HTML). In the second case, our module will not work simply because the caching is on top of PHP execution and requests are rarely going to the actual opencart engine. Such question should be addressed to the caching module developers.

Is this compatible with Nitro Page Caching Extension available here: http://goo.gl/LhEfo2?

For example, if my page is cached with a US currency, and a visitor comes to my website from Canada, will it show the customer currencies in USD or in CAD dollars?

Can the currency be loaded via AJAX after a cached page is loaded?

Thank you for your question.
The customers don’t need to be logged in, it will change the currency automatically to the one, which is set. If you haven’t set specific currency for the country, it will display the default currency.

DO they have to be logged in to the site to have the currency change or is it automatically done based on the visitors IP address.

Hello,

Thanks for this extension. I have the following question:
Normally, when not logged in, prices are displayed incl. VAT.
But when a customer from another zone comes it changes the currency automatically, but the prices are still displayed incl. VAT. Shouldn't this extension set the country for the shop so that all prices are displayed according to the zone?

Hello Sir, im about to buy this but have 2 questions:

1. How does it detect what countries they are from? Is it IP or do they have to create an account with their country in the address.
