Different product sort orders within multiple categories by DRAG & DROP in the admin panel .

Assigned order of sorting will be used as the " Sort by default" when you open the relevant category store.
For product in each category , you can assign a separate sort order.
If you have products associated with multiple categories, the sort order can be changed in each category linked to that product.
You can have different sort orders for a product which is in more than one category.

The module adds the column - filter by category in Products table .

The module allows you to move items between pages of the same category ( admin panel ) .
To do this, drag the item to the appropriate pagination page .

By default, the product is assigned the lowest priority sorting - 10000 . That is, it will at the end of issuance.
Immediately after the installation of the module all the goods will be the value.

To initialize the sort enough to move any item to another page (if you have multiple pages in the category )
If the entire product category fit on one page - enough to make a move of any commodity to a new position .
After initialization, the goods category will receive the sort order from 0 to MAX amount of goods.

It is important - the ability to sort activated only when selected any category in the category filter is and no other filters are used .( admin panel )
To drag product used a special area in the column "sort".
To move the product, press and hold the left mouse button on this field and drag to a new location.

Important - This file is used to store where Products table in admin panel have no category filter - he sets his own.



Installation .
Make a backup of the database.
Upload Upload folder contents to the root of the site.
Go to the admin directory - > Products
You can then delete the file in the vqmod / xml / drag_and_drop_sort_update_bd.xml

Added version for OpenCart 2.0.x.
Install via OCMOD.
If you do not able upload zip file in Extension Installer (FTP needs to be enabled in the settings), extract files from archive.
drag_and_drop_sort_prod.ocmod.xml intall via Extension Installer, Upload folder contents uploads to the root of the site.
