User Messages is the first internal messaging system for opencart. Acting the way email should; User Messages allows you to stay in contact with your co workers, easily organize your inbox and track you or your recipients progress to tasks that message might create.

This extension enables admin users to:

- Send Messages to Each Other
- Send Messages to Groups of Users
- Set Alerts that Automatically Expire After A Set Date
- Create A Custom Set of Statuses To Track Progress of Each Message
- Set An Act By Date For Sent Messages
- Multi-Way Comment on User Message
- Log When A User Reads A Message or Updates It's Status
- Associate Messages to A Specific Customer or Order Number

**Please Note: This is an strictly an internal database driven messaging system it does not use actual emails for messaging.
