Sure, we can change the Notify me to replace the Add to Cart button, but we have done research and it turns out Add to Cart still gives one better notion for the users. Hi,
I want to buy this extension but on the demos I see the "Notify me" button doesn't automatically appear on products not in stock, but I have to click "Add to cart" and only then the "Notify me" pop-up appears.

Is it possible to replace all "Add to cart" buttons automatically for products out of stock? They should be replaced on modules like Featured, Latest as well.

The module automatically sends email to the customer when products get back in stock.

Can this module show Notify Me when stock is "0" for a product - on the category page (replace the add to cart button with Notify Me button).
Can the color of the Notify Me button be replaced? (instead of default blue to something like red or dark blue just for the products with Notify Me activated).

Yes, NotifyWhenAvailable is compatible with Journal 2.
