There is no official release of the Journal 3 theme yet. Journal are now releasing beta versions. Once the official release is out we will make all our modules compatible with it. :)

1)can it be showed above product description ,not on the right side

- Yes, you would be able to change his from the default layouts of your OpenCart.

2)can it appear when visiting one of the combo products ,and disappear when is not visiting one of the combo products?

- You can assign the module to specific products and categories if this is what you are asking .

I have checked this case with my colleagues and it seems like you are using an unofficial 3rd party rich text editor integration and in order to make our ProductBundles to use your rich text editor then it should be customized. Otherwise from our side we would support ProductBundles working with the default OpenCart rich text editor.

Apologies for the delayed reply but we've been extremely busy with the GDPR module. The way we have set up the module is that it takes the settings from the product. Meaning -> if you have set up subtract product in each product then we would deduct the quantity from the product once placed in the bundle.

Hello Stephan,

Thanks for your interest in ProductBundles. On your questions:

1. The bundles are comprised of separate items so we are adding all the products separately in cart with a rule to discount the price. If one removes one of the items from the cart the discount price is nulled, hence the bundle is no longer a bundle but separate products

2. We are trying to use the OC functionality as close as possible so right now thats the most light weight way to use OpenCart. Hence we are now using the discounts in OpenCart. Can you give us a bit more info on why you believe this would be a better approach?

Thanks for your reply and taking the time.

Our customer sells boxes of candy. Each candy is entered separately (with image, name and description) in the backend and bundled together as a box. Each box has a box-price with its own description and images. This is not the sum of prices for all candies and should also not appear as a discount/separate price. That's the requirement of our customer. In the frontend, the separate items should be shown on the bundle page, but since the box is only sold as a whole, it should also be the box that's added to the cart and not the separate items. It is also not changeable in the cart.

I think your extension is close but not close enough, unfortunately. Do you maybe have one that fills the requirements or can you recommend one? That would be great.

So essentially, the items are added separately but the box price is not the sum of all candies (A+B+C) but rather just a bundle price. In this case why don't you just add the box as a separate product and list that it contains items A, B and C, if they cannot be removed and/or changed.

The module does not account for customer groups and displays all bundles. In other words our aim is to be able to increase the sales of stores by making bundles open to all customer groups, however, creating a customer group setting also makes sense as a feature we can integrate in one of the following versions of the module.
