Hi,
I have great problem with extension. I could not open exported file. I get information about wrong file format. I tried to open file with diferent aplication, as Office 2010, Office 2013, Office 2016, Apache OpenOffice. It doesn't work. File also doesn't cointain Metatag data.
Could someone help me somehow.

I can export the files then I filled the field according to the export but I keep getting all kind of error message when I try to import. terrible lost of time and effort

This is an awesome tool, but it does not export the entire product table. I have another plugin that creates text in a new column, but after exporting the sql using this tool, it only exports the default OTB columns. How can I get it to export and import the 2 additional columns that are in the products table?

This is an issue on the web server. It looks like you are probably using a web host like GoDaddy. Please look here to fix the issue:

I am able to acces it now. So one of the two issues I raised has been solved but the second one about documentation is still not resolved. I can't find access to the documentation for this extension.

There is no localization file for the Russian language. It should be placed in the following folder: admin/language/ru-ru/tool . You may copy this file from the English folder (admin/language/en-gb/tool/export_import.php) to the Russian one (admin/language/ru-ru/tool) and then translate all variables to the Russian language. Please don't forget to share your localization file here

Для русского интерфейса модуль не отображается в админке, потому что нет локализации. В папке admin/language/ru-ru/tool должен лежать файл локализации. Его можно взяь из английской версии admin/language/en-gb/tool/export_import.php и скопировать в русскую папку. После этого все английские значения опций перевести там на русский язык. Переведенным файлом не забудьте поделиться тут

this extension is fantastic
But i have a problem with the latest release and opencart 2.1.0.2 version
export product multilanguage doesn't work
it exports products descriptions only one language while in previuos version i had one column for every language

I had FTP error - JNeuhoff emailed immediately that it was my FTP setup and was very helpful.
He has answered the same question 1,000's of times so we need to read his many responses carefully.
In my case I found I could not use the new FTP ACCOUNT I had setup in cPanel.
Once I changed my FTP setup in OpenCart Admin to the default SPECIAL FTP ACCOUNT ID that is already installed as part of the standard configuration the upload worked fine.
The FTP ID/Password that worked was the login ID/Password used to login to cPanel.
Also don't forget to put ftp. ( i.e. ftp.xxxx.com) in front of your website when typing in the ftp detail into the OpenCart Admin setup (system/settings/store/FTP)

Here is the golden Tip
When you install the extention and it doesn't appear in Tools you need to upload the files manualy in your FTP Client.
Now deselect and select everything in System->Users->Users Group edit Administrator group
Now this tool will appear in Tools.
Hopefully everone can use this tool now.

Tried this and no luck. I disabled, cleared, enabled, refreshed, nothing.
QV mod installed, no errors no nothing, other than it sitting in my modifications doing nothing at all.. and I have a ton of products to get uploaded. Hope someone can reach out to me.

and yes, made sure the Admin perms are checked.. :(
Even uninstalled and reinstalled according to the directions.
