Read the docs:
Requirements and Limitations
Use version 4.11 of the Export/Import tool for systems with PHP Version 7.2 or later.
Older PHP versions are still supported by our older version 3.22 of the Export/Import tool.

opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-4-11.
OpenCart 2.3.0.2 does not export unregistered customers.

That's correct, because these are not in the OC database.

Is it possible to parse a photo using a link that is inside an xls file from another site?
Thanks!

JNeuhoff

JNeuhoff 4 years ago

Yes. Though you'd still need another OpenCart extension to add support for external image URLs.

alex.peteniov

alex.peteniov 4 years ago

Can you recommend some extention for that?

JNeuhoff

JNeuhoff 4 years ago

You can search the OpenCart marketplace for it, see e.g.

Excellent tool! The latest version 4.11 works smoothly with PHP 7.4 and OC 3.0.3.8

New version 4.11 is now available. It uses an upgraded PHPOffice library with lots of bugfixes and performance improvements. We also add a manufacturer export-filter to the tool.

Hello,
this extension works nicely for me with the Opencart 3.0.3.3 version but I want to add 2 more fields in the excel sheet -> SKU and EAN for the product option. Please guide me where I need to make changes in the extension code.
These fields are already stored in a database and I added these fields with an extension-> https://www.opencartextensions.in/product-option-sku-upc

Does anybody actually read the documentation here? It clearly states:

Use version 4.10 of the Export/Import tool for systems with PHP Version 7.2 or later.
Older PHP versions are still supported by our older version 3.22 of the Export/Import tool.

Thanks, it's available now.
Because usually download directly ╴ download in chronological order.
And the text is too long, thinking it is general installation teaching or plug-in function, etc.

JNeuhoff

We only support OpenCart, not the Journal3 framework, for the latter please contact https://support.journal-theme.com/

The Export/Import tool works on OpenCart 3.0.3.1

Some quick feedback for those of you who might be struggling:

1. Once activated, the plugin is under System --> Maint --> Import/Export.

2. I'd highly recommend that you perform an EXPORT on both your old, AND your new sites... This way you can cross compare header titles and columns to make sure all of your data matches properly.

3. If you're getting errors, the error log becomes your best friend. Clear it after each run so you don't get lost in a long list of them. 98% of mine had to do with getting the header names formatted exactly as needed for the import.

4. Don't be afraid to use phpMyAdmin to review what the tables have for header names as well. The 'settings' tab of the Import/Export tool talks about using fields with the added notion of "_id" on the fields... This might trip you up at first, just pay attention to the details and you'll get it.

Well, this question about how to transfer data from an old to a new OpenCart is also covered in more detail on our FAQ page!

Thanks very much to those who have maintained this tool. Just had a nightmare of a time with a last minute move from 1.5.6.4 over to version 3.0.3.8. Once I got the header names aligned and matched up properly between the old and new versions everything worked great. The only wish I had for this plugin is that it migrated order history as well... but I'm off to see what kind of SQL magic I hopefully can come up with to make that happen on my own.
