now the problem solved because in php version selector in cpanel, xmlwriter and xmlreader wasn't checked i forcefully did it then it worked with a charm and tank you gowtham gowtham

I opened the said exported file in google sheet, I find the following line only.
<b>Fatal error</b>: Class 'XMLWriter' not found in <b>/home/wwwgotoglasses/public_html/system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/Shared/XMLWriter.php</b> on line <b>37</b><br />
It seems php version 5.4 selector have had xmlwriter & xmlreader unchecked but I witnessed that there are both check boxes enabled already... Now i try to change the php version 5.4 with 5.5 and let's what happens... please you people come here and assist and thank for being onboard

there is some problem while importing and exporting , if we work with google sheet it can't be uploaded properly the categories are merged , please check this soon .

Problem with open cart v2.3.0.2...
I try to export "Products (including product data, options, specials, discounts, rewards, attributes and filters)" then the file is not able to read by excel
Plz assist in this regard

So let me tell you about my experience installing this Module!
I first uploaded it to a test store to see how it performed and look for any bugs. The process of installation went smoothly without any errors and after testing it did not find any issues with it.
I proceeded to install it on my main store and came across an issue when uploading the zip to Extensions upload, it gave me error and wouldn't upload.
So since I knew the Module did work fine I uploaded all files in the upload folder inside the zip, via FTP and it asked me if I wanted to replace a file that had the same name.
After that I went ahead and uploaded the zip file in the extensions upload area and again as expected it showed me a list of files that would be replaced, this because I already had upload them via FTP. So I accepted the changes and it uploaded all files without any errors.
Then I went to modifications and refreshed the list, tested it and is now working like a charm.

In this case when I replaced the file, I knew this file had to do with something else that I didn't need, so I went ahead and replaced it with the new file. When something like this happens to you, make sure you know what you are replacing to avoid having future issues with your store.

I installed the extension successfully and refreshed the modifications. But I am unable to locate the extension in module, can you please let me know where to find that after installing it? Greatly appreciate your response!

This extension is great for small sites with under 1,000 line items. However, once you hit the 1K+ mark you will begin to run into memory limit errors. They is little to zero documentation on how to fully leverage the batch/range features so one has to attempt to figure things out by trial and error.
This was a huge waste of time -- free or not.

Could you expand on this a little? I've been using the module for a while but prob haven't hit 1k products yet. Did you manage to get it to work or offer any advise? Thanks in advance.

Open groups choose admin group check all and save
open users then choose your username and save
Import and export will appear

To fix the problem your need to edit your admin .php file
