Ive installed the tool on Version 1.5.4 when i download the Export and opening the xlsx file it gives a excel error: "ZipArchive" not found

it dosen't want to work
I install it and after the instalation nothing is happening. my open cart is 1.5.6.4
i can not find alo in the extention/module and also not in system/user to give rights
i also gave all the rigths and so on.
what can i do?

@amgsport: This is an easy one. When you export your edited spreadsheet to excel, you must change the save format from xlsx to xls. There is usually a drop down somewhere that allows you to change the format. Its like you are exporting to an older version of excel. Once you change the file extension, it will upload.

Hi,

When I download an export and try to import again exported file, without any changes, I received this error message: "Uploaded file is not a valid spreadsheet file or its values are not in the expected formats!
See also 'System > Error Logs' for more details.
No server data has been changed."

I tried to update product info, like a price and description and I have the same problem.

The format is xlsx. And the values are in the correct format.

Can you help me with the solution of this problem?

The button is located under System/Tools/Export/Import. It its not there, you might need to update your permissions under User/UserGroup/Administration. Hit select all on both tables.
Than you need to go to the Extensions/Modifications and check the Export/Import Tool (V3.7) for OpenCart 2.x box and hit the refresh button in the upper right next to the clear and delete button. If is still isn't showing, check this forum deeper. This mod just works. I have been using this mod for years and every versions always works. I think I started using it before 1.5x

I have to break this response into 2 replies because of the 1000 character limit of this forum.
OK, its all my fault. This works perfect with OC 2.3.0.2. You do need to check your error logs and eliminate the errors one at a time. Let me give an example
this error: Missing product_ids in worksheet 'Products'!
To fix this, you must change a setting in the export section. Before you press the button that says "Export" go up to the tabs above. You will see 3 tabs. One says Export, one says Import and the third says Settings. Go to the settings tab and check the first 2 options. They say:
Use option_id instead of option name in worksheets 'ProductOptions' and 'ProductOptionValues'
Use option_value_id instead of option_value name in worksheet 'ProductOptionValues'

Check those 2 boxes and you will now have the error Missing product_ids in worksheet 'Products'! will now be gone. You next need to go to your spread sheet and make sure under every category in the top line, ie, Products, AdditionalImages, Specials, Discounts, Rewards, ProductOptions, ProductOptionValues, ProductAttributes, and ProductFilters, that you add the Product_Id numbers and all the data are in those boxes. The data must be there.
An example of this error: Missing product_ids in worksheet 'Specials'!
Go to the Specials tab and add all the data. Mine looks like this:
product_id customer_group priority price date_start date_end
50 Default 0 27.30 0000-00-00 2016-10-01
Do the same for each of the errors that say Missing product_ids in worksheet...
I know this will help out. This mod works perfect in OC 2.3.0.2.

Version 3.7 fixes the product option errors upon Import...THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Great extension. Neatly organized, logical, truly a pleasure to use for batch product edits. You guys are great.

Still getting errors on this. Did the .ods thing and that did not work. Seems like I am getting the same errors as everyone else. I have used this software for many years and its not working on the OC2.3.0.2

Any help on this? Its been a few days and I need help. Why are the options not importing on Opencart 2.3.0.2

I am not having any luck with this mod for this version. I have been using this mod for years but since I upgraded to Opencart 2.3.0.2, I can not upload the options back into the shopping cart. I can download them, turn around and upload them right back and they will all be deleted. There is definitely something wrong. This is a new install, blank with only vQmod installed. It is clean. I've done this before. Everything else works, just not the options. Please advise. Looking at other mods, I am not sure that they will actually do anything more than this mod. Please help. I will give you login to look around if you would like.

@neatpleats: By the way, I am using the newest download of Export/Import Tool and opencart-2-x-export-import-multilingual-3-6 and using Opencart 2.3.0.2. New install, no mods just vQmod. Clean new install. I add products and other info but no mods to change the data. My options do not import after they are exported.

I am having a problem where it wont import the options. No idea why. I choose my options (Large, Medium and Small) in Opencart, export them, they are all fine in the xls file but after I Import them back into Opencart, even without changing anything, all the options disappear.
