I have this same issue.
My host advises its just not compatible with the server.
Message is "You do not have permission to access this page, please refer to your system administrator."

Sys Admin have investigated and clear it is a compatibility issue with the server and the download.

Import/Export shows up in Tools but permission access is denied.
The tools privileges are not showing up under the permissions in user admin rights.

Does anybody knows what is this a problem?
I manually copy export file from previous extension version (1.5.6.2) to new excel version with no changes in table headers.

@Kris M: I have had the same problem and i got to know that it's my sql server who is creating this because if you want to export more then 1000 products at once it's a lot of queries to handle so reduce the quantity of the products with id range or batch and export.
Hope it will help because for me its doing well

I uploaded the extension and that works. Also export the and filled out a new list. When i import it the systems tells me: Succes!
But, i don't see the new products in the list.
Can someone help me?

Installation problem. Help please?
I have followed the readme.txt instructions to the letter.
There is an issue with these steps:
Step 5)
Go to System > Users > User Group > Edit Administrator
Step 6)
Set access and modify permissions for 'tool/export_import'

'tool/export_import' IS NOT LISTED. All options are checked and I have looked at every line available and 'tool/export_import' is simply not in the list.

When going to Tools > Export/Import I am presented with a permissions error message indicating that I don't have permissions to access.

Help...??

good extension but it gives me error
Uploaded spreadsheet file has validation errors!

@qphoria: Have alternative for this problem. Use this extension www.opencart.com/index.php?route=extension/extension/info&extension_id=22308 and ocmod goes ahead. There is even more of a extension here that does the same thing. Can you choose which serves you better. =)

Please bring the vQmod option back. Using the "install.xml" only works if your server allows php ftp transfers and many people have server issues and no good way to install. vQmod just works!

I was having the same issue as others with the mod not showing up. I then tried installing the install.xml file from the previous version (opencart-2-0-x-export-import-multilingual-2-19.ocmod) and it worked like a charm. Until this issue is looked into further feel free to download the older xml version here to see if this helps at all. See link below for download. This is such a helpful tool!
