Dear Sir,

In your csv demo, Is it based on product ID to list the product images, options,description?
If the product have more than one images or options, can the excel use one row to display it. Because it is easy management in one row.

If I import new products to opencart, can it auto create product id?

Need I create a new category first in opencart before import products csv?

Hi,

This extension is working on 1.5.6.4. But when I click on the export button I am getting just a white screen.
I have 450 categories and this time added only 200 Products and in future i will add 2000 Products.

Please advise.

excellent, running on 1.5.6.4 beautifuly, but be careful, if it is , as written, only working for ONE language! if ur site has more than 1 language and u create a product on the excel, it will not show on the backend, just on the frontend.

Just tried this on 1.5.6.4 and works PERFECTLY!

Admittedly, I don't have 10000+ products (less than 200 unique, though there are size options for each) but I just wanted to say thank you for such an amazing and free extension

I am not the developer but is there anybody here that actually read the instructions? The developer wrote in BOLD above that support requests should be directed to the OpenCart forum i.e.
NOTE: I WON'T HAVE TIME TO CHECK THE COMMENTS HERE, USE THE REGULAR OPENCART FORUM FOR SUPPORT REQUESTS!
The link above "Request Support" tells you to go to the forum or PM the developer and still people continue to post support requests here which begs the all important Q - Did you read the instructions at all before you installed?
FGS - the product is provided free. An equivalent commercial product is being sold for £50+. Surely people can show some appreciation by taking the time to read the instructions? No? Sheesh!

Hi, I can this error during Export
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 94 bytes) in /home/site/public_html/shop/system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/Style/Supervisor.php on line 126

Is it because of the hosting plan I'm using is having too low RAM and memory allocated?

@daolwede: Im also having that problem, as of today though. It has been working fine up to today. I've tried re-installing and still have the same problem, no new plugins added.

Hi,

This extension is working fine for imports. But when I click on the export button I am getting just a white screen. Even after switching error reporting on in OpenCart there is no error message to work with? Have also tried the commenting out of set_time_limit as mentioned in a previous thread.

Please advise.

Yeah I tried that originally but it just got the better of me I must admit. Seems a little annoying that this is the case, I have quite a fair few "special" characters such as ® ™ © ; ' :. It is fixed now by doing the cut and paste thing, might give it a try again soon to see if I can get it to work for me @The Rug World:

@proudshifi: Use the Export/Import excel spreadsheet to mass find and replace the characters which are causing the errors. ctrl + f in excel then 'Final All' before making any changes and make sure you keep a backup copy of the spreadsheet.

Check Google Base Feed in Internet explorer to see all errors with line/character numbers, copy and paste the Page Source into a Notepade editor and you can easily find any other errors.

Major problem I have found with this extension for me is that it has wrecked my google base feed. It has changed characters to their html equivalent eg: ' to ’ which is making errors in the feed. If I go back into my product description, cut the text out then repaste and save, it then works in google base. Any way to correct this? Annoying that I have around 450 products to go back in and fix

doesn't work on 1.5.6.2, 6.3 or 6.4 at the moment.
Im going to have to go back to 1.5.5.1 it seems as 1.5.6.1 has bugs.
