I did the installation of opencart v1.5.6.1 and extension opencart-1-5-6-x-export-import-17 and followed all the steps except step 2 that did not realize what it takes to change the files listed .

Is it possible to help me.

is it only me or does this only export categories, i did it right and have it working on my site but when i hit export to pull the spreadsheet and open it its only the categories i set no products how do you make it work with products?

I found another mutlilanguage version base on your work, but it doesn't work for 1.5.6

Hi, sorry for my English, I write with the help of an interpreter.
I have a problem, put the module, everything works fine, but only with a small quantity of the goods. currently in the shop more than 30 000 items, and there was a problem:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1888223232) (tried to allocate 60 bytes).
1888223232 byte is 1,8GB!!!
With the store I'm currently working on Denwer, because of the limitations of server-side lacking.
I read many forums, but the answer and have not found.
Prompt please where "dig"how to remove the restriction in 1,8GB?

@DragonJ: No limits, i am using many more products fine. Look in different directories - admin and catalog etc and try find a php.ini file that may be over writing your set values. That was my problem.

wow .. after 2 days seraching the net on posible fixes to the PHPEXCEL memory problem.... i tryed using the export import tool for the OC 1.5.4 on OC 1.5.61 amazing it woks !!!!!!!!!!!! just remove the set time limit function that the error shows on first run by adding // in front of the line will get back to you after i do a dry run on importing products

Sadly, this extension has its limits. :-(

My store has about 5,000 products. I have a dedicated server. My host raised and raised and raised PHP's memory_limit to 2621MB (which is 2.5GB) and it still triggered "Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted..." errors.

I set up a fresh Opencart test site and the script runs fine with the default products so I think there's a maximum to what this extension can handle. I do appreciate the developer offering it for free though. :-)

I exported from : OC v1.5.4 (This Extension v1.5.4)
Imported to : OC v1.5.6 (This Extension v1.5.6)
Error :
"2014-01-21 7:56:51 - PHP Notice: Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '��ࡱ�' at line 1<br />Error No: 1064<br />��ࡱ� in /var/www/html/system/database/mysql.php on line 50"

* All requirements mentioned and php settings also are already defined well.

THIS EXTENSION IS NOT WORKING!

Hi Team,

I have been using this extension for almost 1 month. I have uploaded 1100 products so far and using a shared hosting. Today when I tried to export the sheet, it gave me the following error message :

Error: MySQL server has gone away
Error No: 2006
SELECT `product_id`, `image`, `sort_order` FROM `ocmjc_product_image` pi ORDER BY pi.`product_id`, pi.`sort_order`, pi.`image`;

I encountered with this error before but all I did is re-login and I was able to use this extension but now I have tried importing earlier sheets as well but I'm unable to export them.

In short, import function works perfectly but export function doesn't.

Please guide me what should be done in this case. I'm using Version 1.5.5.1.

Someone please help me, why when i import the products i cant see the products on the categories page? I can see them in my admin control panel at the products page, with the pictures, category. The categories at the import file are correct since i can see the category on the product page in the admin panel.
