I have been using your this mod for a few weeks and it's worked perfectly. Yesterday I had a Multi Vendor mod and an Accounting mod installed that are not being picked up. How can I update this so all categories for products will be picked up?

Hi , Nice module works with all versions of Opencart.
But now am trying the same module with Version 1.5.2.1, but when i export the file the text is not displaying only numbers are displaying. There are more then 2000 products in my project. Please help ASAP..

1) I just suggest to alert the users to select a file to import: I was loosin 10 minutes not understanding why clicking on the IMPORT button there was no window opening to let me choose the file to import.. instead the right way was to FIRST select the file THEN click on IMPORT button.

I have used this on numerous sites without issue, but one is causing an error when generating an export of the database. don't suppose you know what this might be?? Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ABSTRACT in /home/SITENAME/public_html/system/PHPExcel/Classes/PHPExcel/CachedObjectStorage/CacheBase.php on line 37

Best free tool! I wonder if this supports multiple images. Additional images on top of the main image.

Hi, finally able to debug and get the solution, in my excel sheet, i have a product whose category was ended with the comma delimiter instead of a value (i mean assuming you have a product_id 7849 and the categories ought to be 23,64,859,535 I now had the categories end as 23,64,859,535, i.e. the application expects a value but it got a null or wrong datatype).....Please take note when populating your db

Just put up a new store and install import export but each time i tried to upload the .xlsx file the upload page shows blank (WSOD(White Screen of Death)) and captures only 60 products. when i split the content into 60s the application overwrites the formerly uploaded products

Hi we have 13k product to add to the opencart site, I have your Mod thank you, However it will only allow us to upload x1000 of our products which is fine, but when I then come to upload the next 1000 products they overwrite the first thousand products

What am I doing wrong?

Can we add all our products using this mod?

One questions:

Why can not import or export certain amount of rows? I would not have such a problem with the memory requirements can be quite high.

@billium99: Friend, you have to go in and edit User group "admin" and the two list, mark the checkbox for the module import / export and you will have access.

Hi there, I have actually already posted this in the forum but I'm hoping the author may be able to respond directly:

I downloaded the latest Excel Import/Export tool for 1.5.6 and at first glance and having added a few cursory products and categories, it appeared to work but recently I am getting this error message:

"Uploaded file is not a valid spreadsheet file or its values are not in the expected formats!"

I should tell you I am using Open Office 4 then converting the file to XLSX, I'm wondering if this might be the problem. I will if necessary buy a license for Excel but being a fan of Open Source (and not particularly a MS fan), I'm reluctant to do this.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Can anyone help me.
I am getting this error.

I uploadet images via ftp and set the name in the import tool (xlsx file).
Now I dont see the image on my site and get this warning.

@billium99: Did you copy all the files from upload folder to admin and system folder of your opencart installation?

Hello - I just tried to install 1.5.5 version and get Permission Denied! You do not have permission when I go to the Import/Export page. What would cause this. I'm Super User.
