Hello! I have a problem using you export tool, i have 2 different stores (not multi store) Both 1.5.4.

I try to export from one store and import that file to the other store. The products will show in the second store front, but they do not get listed in admin under "products".

Do you have any idea?

This mod is superb. Please please can we have it for 1.5.5.1? Happily pay for it - I bought another one to use with 1.5.5.1 and it's rubbish!

Got this mod working on one site. But using all the same downloads again in a new store I just wont see it in the dashboard toolbar. I see it in the usersgroup and set acces for the Topadmin... but dont see it in the toolbar like in my other sites.

Downloaded the correct .zip

anyone can help?

1. Does this over right existing data? Would you be able to just upload 3 products and all the other product fields would remain?

2. Would this work if you have added custom field in your product listing?

@GP2011:
I was having the same problem
Solution:
1- you should create a new database
2- if u are using localhost, adjust your php.ini to not time out
3- make sure product-id and category-id start from 1 consecutively all the way to last product
I was able to successfully do it with 3800 products.
PS - you should know this tool will ever write everything in your database meaning you will only hand up with the products you upload.

First of GREAT EXTENSION! Secondly I have a a VQMod installed that gives me a custom field in categories where i can link it to another page )"link to page" and i insert a URL) When I export the file this field does not show and therefore when I import it, it deletes any info I had filled in the field How can I add it to the exel file in the export/import or is tehre a way to just do partial imports like if a field is not there its not changed instead of deleted
Any help would be much appreciated!

@roby_lp: I had similar problem. I could see the categories in the store, but would not appear on admin>catalog>products. The way I solved this: Click "edit" on any category and then "Save". That solved the problem.

Could someone tell me how to make it work with a csv uploaded via ftp to my website ? maybe it will work faster and will allow for more products, something like pasting the complete link to the remote file as well as computer browse option.
Maybe in the admin folder to change the template but how?
I always get memory error when trying to upload large products by import export tool

From there, select 'Top Administrator', then click on the 'Edit' link to the right.
This will open up an edit window with multichoice dropdown lists for 'Access' and 'Modify' rights.
In both of them, you'll see a new entry for 'tool/export' which you can select by clicking
on their check boxes. There is no tool/export option after the instructions. Where do I post this question? I can't find this extension in the opencart forum.
