the vqmod didnt update the php or tpl files. however this is easily done with great instructions.

Hi, it works great on 1.5.4.1 but theres a small problem:
If you add a product on the XLS file, It will appear in the store, but it wont appear in admin>catalog>products. Am I missing something?

@slats123: I just noticed your comment about the white screen - I had that exact problem, in my case it was caused by image filenames containing single quotes which messed up the import MYSQL somewhere

So i am limited to maximum 500 products? It is only possible to import one doc at a time...

error with filesize:
I am using OC version 1.5.3.1
memorysize 512
pluginversion opencart-1-5-3-x-export-import-11.zip

import file size: 4955kB
amount of products: 2231
----
I tried a smaller file 1325kB by removing all not necessary information and leaving the categories and products.

But still getting: out of memory problem

Next move is cutting the file into smaller pieces, but that is not the way it should work.

Hello. I use your extension for 6 month now and i find it very usefull. I would like to answer me if is it possible to upload the xls file from ftp to a folder and after that to find it to our server files not to our local files on pc. Like when we press the buttom to upload the xls file to show us the files from server. Thanks a lot.

Okay I've added this to my site and last week it worked just fine. Now... I get a fatal error every time I try to upload my xls sheet. Also, I have two installations in the backend. Under system, I see "export/import" twice. Don't know how that happened or which one to use because I get the same error message on both installations. Somebody push me in the right direction.

Hi,

I can see this in the User Group permissions, all ticked etc but cannot see it on my admin pages?

I've renamed my admin area and have made changes to the export.xml file to reflect this and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

Hola,

I installed it but when i got to set the permissions they dont show up for me to select it. it shows up under systems on the bottom "export/import" when i hit it it says no permissions talk to system admin. when i got to give the permission nothing there to select.
can anybody help?

In the admin interface, choose

System > Users > User Group

From there, select 'Top Administrator', then click on the 'Edit' link to the right.
This will open up an edit window with multichoice dropdown lists for 'Access' and 'Modify' rights.
In both of them, you'll see a new entry for 'tool/export' which you can select by clicking
on their check boxes.

Also forgot to mention, if you have changed your admin directory to something else you will need to make the relevant changes in the xml file that you upload. think there are 3 occurances of admin that need to be changed.

@Wolfman2: Once you have installed and set permissions. You will find the tool under "system" from the administration menu. It will be at the bottom of the list "Export/import" you can easily miss it because it looks similar to the "backup/restore" option. Hope this helps!
