I just want to mention that if you run a multilingual store you have to set your admin language to the one you want the export to be done in.

I have downloaded this and configured the authorisation level as described in the readme file, but where do I run it from?, I can seem to find where in the Admin panel or admin section to run it from. Can someone please tell under which menu it is run from? Or have I done something wrong?

Have the same question as "PinkPerl" abov. I cannot find the tool itself (installed Import/Export tool v1.5.3.x for OC v1.5.3.1)!

Great tool! Is there a maximum of characters that can be exported/imported? I manually added long descriptions in OC(1.5.1) and now when I want to export them, I see in the Excel in the description field the following: <p>[?] . How can I adjust and can I import it again?

after change the memory and file size limit i got this error:

For those getting errors, double check that you downloaded the version of this extension that matches your version of Opencart.

Have a problem, have another mod that inserts a new ccolumn into the products table call "product_apt" this mod creates extra tabs.

And of course when use your import/export mod it doesn't include this column when export and and also deletes it and all its records when import.

Glad I tested it out on my local OC first.

Our can I include this Column into your Mod??

Hi guys,
I'm using version 1.5.2.1, is there a mod or anyway I can upload the xls document in two parts without the second version overwriting the first using the import/export tool? Or even another extension that can do this? Im quite desperate as my boss is eager for me to finish our new e-commerce site and i'm about 500 products short.

I've got a product list with obviously too much data for my server to handle and is causing a memory error. If I could split the list into 2 parts It would work.

Any help or suggestions? Even alternate extensions that won't cause so much memory strain on the server?
