Now that my inventory is over 11k, when I try to import, the screen refreshes and goes white. It doesnt look like the data is getting imported.

Anyone experienced this and have a solution?

I've been using this extension for several months now and I LOVE IT! Once I got the hang of importing it makes things so much easier when dealing with a large library of products. I went so far as to create a nice Access database to store these objects in and a an export script from Access to a format that this extension can use to import the database to my store. It really makes things nice using forms in MS Access first. If anyone cares to try my Access database to work it into your products feel free to message me.

Quick Update. I realised I HADN'T actually downloaded the correct version.

My OC Version is 1.5.3.1 I downloaded v1.5.1.3.

It works perfectly.

I'm getting the same error message as Tajx. I have OC 1.5.3 and just downloaded the correct version again, but still getting error.

Hi,
I add this tool and configure successfully. After Export the XL file there was an error
Notice: Error: Unknown column 'cg.name' in 'field list' Error No: 1054 SELECT ps.*, cg.name FROM `product_special` ps LEFT JOIN `customer_group` cg ON cg.customer_group_id=ps.customer_group_id ORDER BY ps.product_id, cg.name in C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-12.0\www\upload\system\database\mysql.php on line 49
Please help me.

@tdaubs: When i exporting a file for editing it, the file named with backup_categories_products.xls
is downloaded, but when i am opening it, the file contains below error.

Notice: Error: Unknown column 'cg.name' in 'field list'
Error No: 1054

Kindly suggest what to do...??

I was trying to create a dummy xls file from exporting the data that exists in my database, but I get a blank xls file. Does anybody else have this issue? why is it not exporting anything?

For those asking for a dummy xls sheet... he can't really provide one since it changes between opencart versions. One way to create your own xls sheet example is to install a version of opencart that you need to work with. Then export the xls sheet with the demo data. This will give you a working format for the version of OC you need.

Finally, I want to thank JNeuhoff for an excellent tool. I'm really surprised you don't charge a few bucks for it. It's definitely worth it! Beautiful work!

Such a nice free extension . but i m facing some problem whenever i try to upload some product through this module my old product get deleted don't know why? every time i have to upload old products+ new products. Is this module made like this or only i am getting such type of error. Thanks for help

I was checking the permission of the folder from FileZilla. I just did another fresh installation of OC 1.5.3.1 and then installing vQmod and following the http://code.google.com/p/vqmod/wiki/Install_OpenCart guideline. Still no luck. Please also see above my 30/07/2012 posting.

our cooperation/advise would be much appreciated.

I am using opencart v 1.5.3.1.
vQmod 2.1.6-Opencart
Shoppica 2 Theme + few other OC extensions (all extensions are working fine together)

I have tried few times on my different test sites (one of them has OC default template) but the 'System > Export/ Import' will not show in any one. I can see upto System > Backup/Restore.
I have selected 'tool/export' in both places from 'Top Administrator' - as per the instruction.

I have followed below links
