I have been able to upload the component, however, I don't see where I get the template for the XLS spreadsheet? Can anyone help me understand this, as I don't know what fields etc. I need to have for a successful import?

Vaibhav - I had same issue. I installed with vqMod. Did not work so I manually moved files to correct directories.

hey, it shows permission denied even after giving all the permission to user..and I can't see anything like tool/export in my permission list..pls help..

Great Extension.

Can't get options to work with it though :-S

Anyone else having this problem, have upgraded to the new version and im using 1.5.1.3 :-S

This seems to work fine so far (OC 1.4.9.5, with Shoppica theme). And it's Free!!!

What I do is create a few products/categories through the admin panel as normal, then export that file to Excel. I use this file to populate my store easily which seems to have all the predefined fields Opencart uses (including Options & images!). Just takes a bit of time getting used to the format.

I'm a complete newbie, and just a small retailer, sofar so good;)

Hey everyone. This is just the tool that I was looking for. I have installed it and I believe that I have followed the install instructions exactly. However, when I click import in my admin panel and select the file that I need to upload I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method PHPExcel_Reader_CSV::setReadDataOnly() in /home/brum26/public_html/propergifts.co.uk/admin/model/tool/export.php on line 1582

I have installed the solution but when I try to import an xls list, i keep received this error message : "Uploaded file is not a valid spreadsheet file or its values are not in the expected formats!"

Great extension! Is it me or does it not add in the download for products that have downloads associated with them? If it doesn't handle downloads, then is should since the downloads are part of the product.

Hello,

Thanks for this extension... I have a small question. What data fields can I use when importing. I did an export to get a sample file but the fields that I do not see are UPC, SKU if I add these fields when doing an import will it work. Or are the only fields I can import to are the ones that downloaded in the export file. I am using OC 1.5.1.3

Hello and thanks for such a great application. I am using the Advanced Reports + Profit Reporting for OC v1.5.x tool and with this tool it adds a new field called 'cost' to table `product` and table `order_product`. I would like for this field to come down in the export so it can be maintained and then imported. Could you please help me complete this task or at least point me in the right direction?

Good afternoon JNeuhoff! It very much facilitates many thanks for your addition with filling by the shop goods.
The only thing that has faced one problem OC 1.5.1.3.
Creating in the menu: catalog -> option the Option with type: the image and at export in isn't preempted in xls value from db -> oc_option_value-> to the table "image" the link on image.
And at import on a site it is necessary to enter anew into the menu of "option" the data.
Probably already who that faced such problem and will prompt its decision

What a great extension! Installation and product/category export worked first time with no problems. We're using OC 1.5.1.3 and this xtension is a huge help. A big Thank you to the developer!
