Hi,
I installed export/import tool newly.
When im trying to export , it showing blank xls file...
Can anyone help?

hi,
I modified files as per readme.txt & if i go to export/import tools its saying permisiions denied.
I cant find any tool/export in user group>top administartor> .
How can i see the tool/export entry?
Can anyone help?

To all with the following errors:

"Error: The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT"

I have the same issue and there may be one way out of it, but may not be a good one. I investigated the issue about MAX_JOIN_SIZE and it has to deal with the setting. I tried to set the parameters to php.ini or .htaccess and doesn't work. So I tried to switch to a different hosting and it solves the issues. So it is something have to do with the setting from the hosting server.

For my business http://www.lenobe.com, I am getting more and more products and now I have to switch hosting in order to have the export function working properly. Hope that helps a little.

Hi, I am new to this tool.
I downloded the file, as per readme.txt i need to upload folders like admin,system into my opencart(1.5.1.3.1) root folder.But my open cart folder already have admin,system folders in it.
How can i upload the new one? If i do so it replaces the old folders...
Can anyone help?

Hi,

Notice your system is not totally compatible with office 2007 excel, as it add numbers to descriptions in product on both sides when uploaded. Only 2003 excel okay. Secondly are you able to include in your soffware, when you download excel the maxium quanity in the excel heading next to minium (as not there), as when you use this add on in opencart which I believe lot are using it now, it resets the maxium quanity to 0 in open cart product each time you upload. Apart from that havent had a problem.

Hi all

I'm getting an error that hasn't occurred before. Importing works great but when i export and then open the file in excel all i get is .....

Error: Query execution was interrupted<br />Error No: 1317<br />SELECT pa.*, a.attribute_group_id, ad.name AS attribute_name, a.sort_order, agd.name AS attribute_group FROM `product_attribute` pa LEFT JOIN `attribute` a ON a.attribute_id=pa.attribute_id LEFT JOIN `attribute_description` ad ON ad.attribute_id=a.attribute_id AND ad.language_id=1 LEFT JOIN `attribute_group_description` agd ON agd.attribute_group_id=a.attribute_group_id AND agd.language_id=1 WHERE pa.language_id=1 ORDER BY pa.product_id, a.attribute_group_id, a.attribute_id;

Anyone know why or can point me in the right direction?

Fantastic Extension Juergen! Many thanks! It is going to save us a ton of time.
Makes populating the mySQL dB much easier.
I've done a dozen imports/exports this afternoon and then did a mass import from ACCESS > Excel > OC.
Not a single hiccup so far <knocks-on-wood>.
OC v1.5.1.3.1 - Shared Host, ICDSoft - php.ini set as recommended.

I've been using your mod for several months. Now I need to add 23000 products to cart and when I try to import after several minutes it just stops. Hello.. First i wanna thanks for the extension.
I have OC1493 and i have a problem after i make import the xls.
The xls is in greek language and when i make import the xls everything it is ok exept the search.
I can't find any result. When i add manual a product the result work fine.
Can anyone help me ?

What options are available with this mod? Does it export order, for example, by filtering certain conditions? i.e say select only orders that are processed and not shipped? Is there a demo or screenshots of the admin area with this mod?

I have been having a real hard time finding anything that will simply export via CSV using filters and exporting ALL order related data.

Hello i have a little problem. I have a excel file from version 1.4.9.3 and i have installed version 1.5.1.3 but when i upload te old file it doesn't upload and change the products.

What can i do?

Hi, I have installed the version of this tool for OpenCart 1.5.1.3 As far as I know I have uploaded the files correctly and I have set the user group permissions as instructed. My question is: Where is the tool? I can't find it anywhere. I'm assuming it should be appearing in the admin interface yes?

Ignore my previous post. Turns out my admin user_permissions view file had been mangled in the upload and the extension wasn't to blame for the problem. Seems to work quite nicely! Thanks.

It is really nice job. Import option is working for 1.5.1.3 only for one language ( as in read me file). What about if I modify it in excel, May I export all other languaged data ?

I am running 1.5.1.3.1 and i get a white line on the top of the admin section saying ' . "\n"; ?>
I need to get rid of that...what is that? Cannot figure it out!!!

Hi,

I love this module, it has always worked for me in previous installs.

Right now i am using 1.5.1.3 and Vqmod, and while exporting it is giving me following error:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'Spreadsheet/Excel/Writer.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/pear:/usr/share/php') in /home4/feverzer/public_html/purvibhatt/stock/admin/model/tool/export.php on line 2302
