My opencart language is portuguese. it is the only language installed.
Does anyone knows if it can be a problem to use this extension?

do i need to have the english language installed and as default?

Great tool..I've used to upload over 1000 products now however I'm getting this error now:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 78905344) (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in /home/sama/public_html/promstardresses.com/admin/model/tool/export.php on line 748

I check the corresponding line :

$optionPrefix = isset($row[8]) ? $row[8] : "+";

Which is the default as I've not changed anything. Any help please??

Hey, first of all I also have the same problem s sam_a, once I export and then import products all my additional images get erased. Also it seems that I'm exceeding my server memory limits. Can I split file in two when I upload it?

I installed the tool, but there is no documentation on how to actually use it...is there some other documentation that I am missing or can someone please give some tips on how to use it.

Dear Sir,

I have facing problem with Export/Import Tool.

When I export ctg. product file then its ok.

But when I change something in that file & import then it will not update in my product list.

Why this happen?

Pls help.

I've used this extension to upload about 500 products so far however I'm encountering a weird error. When I'm adding data to the excel sheet and importing it what's happening is all my additonal images for my other products get erased for some reason.

I've looked over my excel sheet for any errors but can't find any. Any help or advice would be appreciated as this extension is a huge time saver for me, thank!

Hi, I have a big problem with this tool. My language is Czech. Specific characters are ěščřžýáíé. After export (or import) DB to XLS (or XLS to DB) are these characters replaced as entities.
Treatment extension still does not work. Please, somebody help me. Author or everybody else.

Looks like it doesn't handle single quotes very well. Having single quotes anywhere in any of the field names causes mysql errors for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Helped me so much in migration from one cart to "open cart".. my thanks can't be enough! But.. you know what would be just great.. the cherry in top of the cake (for so-to-speak).. if there could be multi-language support.

I am getting this error..... "Uploaded file is not a valid spreadsheet file or its values are not in the expected formats!"

I have double checked my file type it is set to XLS... any ideas? I am running the newest version

Hi ninetienne,

your server seems to be configured to not allow modifying the set_time_limit configuration of php. The extension tries to do this for bigger imports. You can easily remove this. Open the file /admin/model/tool/export.php, search for the line "set_time_limit( 60 );" and delete it. In the latest release of the extension, it is already disabled.

@jeff: I already noticed problems with german umlauts in the Option names. I have a solution for this and will send it to you via email.

Hi, installed your plugin, exported to an xls file.

However the XLS file does not have several sheets as in your screenshot. Moreover the first line says:

Warning: set_time_limit() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/xxx/xxx/www/shop/admin/controller/tool/export.php on line 76

Moreover there are problems with cyrillic characters. Any ideas?

It ruined a brand new v1.4.9.1(upgraded to v1.4.9.2) install. Tried it twice. Really loved this mod on v1.4.8.
Guess I will have to wait.
