Description

The Social Medlia Login module allow your users to use their existing accounts of Facebook, Twitter, Google or Yahoo accounts to login to your store, without the need of creating local user accounts.

However due to the differences in permissions across different platforms, this module "DOES NOT" get other user information such as postal addresses hence your users will still have to provide this information when checking out for example. In the basic the module is able to read the first name, last name and email address from each of those platforms EXCEPT twitter who does not provide user's email addresses over OAUTH and infact does not support user-only authentication with OAUTH 2.0.

For people authenticating with Twitter, they will need to still provide a valid email address when checking out and so on. A random email is created temporarily for twitter users to be able to login.

Before using each platform, you will need to visit their respective developer environments and create 'applications' for your website, that will be used to configure this module. When creating the required application in each platform, please enable email read permissions.

You can activate none, some, or all of the social platforms at a time. If you indeed need the email address of your users all the time, I suggest you don't activate Twitter login except you trust your users to provide their emails later. When Twitter will start providing email address over the api this module will be updated.
