Subdomain static content delivery is a key factor for websites speed,

If you check amazon.com, ebay.com, youtube.com, facebook.com or any other high profile website source code you can clearly see that all the static content including style sheets, scripts, images, pictures and so on are hosted in different domains, this way websites can load faster making multiple connections minimizing round trips to the servers.

Opencart by default does not offer this feature and can be difficult or expensive to setup if you need to hire somebody else to do the modification to your website.

But no need to worry anymore, now you can host all your static content in a subdomain or COOKIE FREE addon domain an increase your site speed by serving all your store static content to the end user from different domains, 1000 times better than any caching system.

When the connection to your site is using SSL all your store content will be delivered from your main store domain and when the connection is not using SSL all the content will be delivered from your "your_static_content_domain.com", this way you don't need a expensive wild card SSL certified to deliver all your content secure.

This mod only change the way your products pictures and your store modules style sheets and javascript are delivered to the end user from "your_static_content_domain.com" and no experience is required however this modification does not change how your custom theme style sheets or javascript are delivered, "ONLY" the store modules such as banners, sliders, specials, latest or any other module installed and your products pictures, To modify your actual theme some experience may be required.

Given there is hundreds of themes and custom themes out there this modification only change how modules work processing javascript and stylesheets because it would be impossible to create a vqmod file to change how all those themes work out javascript and style sheets.

I always give free support for all my modifications but given there is hundreds of themes out there, some simple, others no so simple and others more in the complex side like shoppica, this time i'm offering a custom conversion for your actual theme to sent all of your theme static content from "your_static_content_domain.com" too i'm charging $20 for regular or simple themes, $40 for responsive themes and $60 for shoppica and themes that include a mobile frameworks conversion, the conversion will use vqmod and there won't be actual changes to the theme files so all themes can be updated in the future without any trouble.
