Newsletter radio button for Spam Regulations Requirement for OpenCart v2.0.x-2.3.x (vqmod)

WHY I WROTE THIS MODULE:
-----------------------

Many government spam acts require users to OPT-IN to mailing lists. A checkbox that is pre-checked is not always acceptable (such as the new Canadian Spam laws of 2014) Using an unchecked box is acceptable, however most users do not subscribe to your mailing list. The best solution is to use an UNCHECKED radio button where the user must select to either join or decline your newsletter - forcing them to do so if they register an account either through the main page or during the checkout process.


WHAT THIS SOFTWARE DOES

- Changes the checkboxes and existing radio buttons when registering for an account (either from the main page, or during checkout) to an unfilled radio button
- If a selection is not made, it prompts the user to make a selection before continuing
- Multistore support: **If you have also installed the "Multi-Store Newsletter: Track which Stores a customer belongs to" extension** - This module will additionally force a customer to make a selection upon login, if they haven't made a selection for the current store. (multi-store support in oc version 2 only)


What it does *NOT* do:
- It doesn't track multiple stores newsletter options : see "Multi-Store Newsletter: Track which Stores a customer belongs to" for that.
- It does not slow the newsletter down, or give you options for the number of emails to send in a batch : see the "Slow Down Newsletter (and save its progress as it goes)" extension for that.
- It does allow you to continue sending a newsletter if you are interrupted or show the progress and email addresses you are currently sending to : see the "Slow Down Newsletter (and save its progress as it goes)" extensions for that.

These two extensions "Multi-Store Newsletter: Track which Stores a customer belongs to" and "Slow Down Newsletter (and save its progress as it goes)" are great add-ons to this one. This module installs with vQmod

Use:
As customers create accounts, the change is instant.

LIMITATIONS
-----------

1. Theme - This module assumes you are using the default theme, you may need to make a small change to point to the correct file in the XML if you are using a theme.

2. Language - this module assumes you are using English. You may need to make small changes to the XML to add your languages otherwise.
