What are "Cron jobs"?
Cron jobs are a simple way to point make a server on the internet do a scheduled task. This can be achieved easily by using the Cron manager from cPanel or any other web cron service.

The idea behind this mod came when someone needed an OpenCart mod to export all products from a category to a PDF and that had to be done often. Once every 2 hours.
If you have a similar mod or just want to update your currencies every X minutes or hours then search no more!

Package Description
This package contains:
- an OpenCart native modification file (does not require anything else to install on your server) that can easily be disabled or removed;
- a module to provide credentials for the cron job access or to disable/enable the mod;

Requirements:
* OpenCart 2.0+
* Access to cPanel Cron Job or a similar scheduled webpage accesing service
* 1 FTP account on your domain's server for OCMOD XML and files upload

Examples of usage:
+ Refresh currencies as often as desired
+ Clear logs - error logs, access logs
+ Execute any script from your admin panel as a scheduled task
