Latest Product & New Products Extension for OpenCart v2.0.x-2.3.x

WHY I WROTE THIS MODULE:

- I wanted a module to show different products in 'latest' on various pageloads
- I wanted to have a clickable "new products" button

WHAT THIS SOFTWARE DOES
-----------------------

This package comes with TWO mods for the price of one!

"Latest Products" - This module will find 10 times the maximum number of products that were most recently added to the db to be listed - and then give you a randomization of products within that range. It automatically excludes all items listed below 1 cent, and products without images.

"New Products" - gives you a clickable link in the Latest products mod, and will show, chronologically, all the latest products added to your site.

Installation:

This module uses vQmod - Drop the XML file into your vQmod folder. Don't forget to backup first.

You can use one or both of these mods.

Language file: "New Products" has a one-line add in the language file in the XML - if you have additional languages, add them to the XML file. "latest products" has not modified any language files

Template files: This mod does not modify templates, so it should be multi-theme compatible.

Uninstall:

Remove the XML file(s)
