If you have to update prices in your inventory, but you would like to keep the same discounts, the best way would be to set up Special and/or Discount as a %. For example: cost for the products have been changed and you have to go and update up 4 values for every product.

If you are a drop-shipper, it's getting worst: vendor[s] changed the price up or down... If % is used for Special and/or Discount you will never loose money and keep attractive prices for the visitors.'

NOTES:
1. KNOWN ISSUE: products' sort in categories by ORIGINAL price
2. Discounts have higher priority than Specials
3. The syntax for Discount/Special: for example: any value greater than 1 - absolute value, or < 1 (for ex: 0.1 will be 10% OFF)
