Hi, this module is not encrypted but I have to say that most likely parsing it code will not be an easy walk. Also you can ask for my support, in this case it would be nice to have a test copy of the site I could access to set up compatibility.

Hello,
I have an error when i try remove a product from the cart " SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data" .... I tried to resolved buy my self but with no luck, can ypu please take a look at my problem.

Im using OC 2.3.02 with Journal 3 and vqmod version of the module + compatibilty for Journal 3

When i disabling the module everything works fine.

Hi, no it doesn’t create dataLayer and doesn’t have connection with GTM except supporting GA tracking code implemented as GTM tag. This extension uses Google Measurement Protocol for sending tracking data.

1-)Can I track product-based conversions by traffic channels in Google Analytics? Lets assume that for Apple iPhone X Product (Instagram $ 15000, Facebook 5000$, Google CPC $ 10000, Organic $ 10000 etc.)

2-) Can I track product based conversion by funneling customer age,sex etc. by acqusition based?

2) theoretically yes, you can get such a report and the list of available user parameters is very large (http://prntscr.com/p6vbu3 including age, gender, language, etc.) but for some reason (possibly for maintain the privacy) in practice Google doesn't want to show this data in e-commerce reports (http://prntscr.com/p7a3ac, http://prntscr.com/p7a3wo), although judging by other analytics sections it owns this information (http://prntscr.com/p7a1dl).

My extension doesn't track user data (where user come from, age, gender) at all, this does google analytics (GA) tracking code and then the ecommerce data is automatically linked with user data in the reports. I also checked GA demo account and it also doesn't show age and gender in ecommerce reports, you can check it yourself by accessing the demo reports -https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6367342?hl=en.

Hello,
1) This extension will work with GA tracking code integrated by GTM, but there is no direct connection because my extension uses google measurement protocol instead of data layer and GTM codes to send tracking data.
2) Of course, you do not need to change anything (especially if it concerns system files such as controllers) because all changes are made by the extension modification file during installation in a copy of the system files, including controllers.

but you need to install an additional modifier (Additional Mod For Compatibility With Journal3 Theme OC3000-3032, it exists in the download list) for better compatibility after installing the extension.

VanStudio support is great. I had issues with my extension not being able to track e-commerce tracking on Google Analytics. Well, everything worked except the transactions was not being reflected. I used Google Tag Manager on the website and since the store was heavily customized, the extensions had issues. Nevertheless, VanStudio went out of their way to fix our issues and now everything works seemelessly . I would definately recommend VanStudio.
