Yes, just use the "update preserve" method and just assign a field to your product name, this way only product name will be updated.

Can it fetch image and description from a fb page?

It can get the image if you have the full url of the image on fb, but if you have only fb page url it is not possible, also for description which must be into your import file.

Yes, in step 3 you can use the extra function "skip item", with this option you can make the script to not import the item if some field is equal to the value you defined, you can set multiples values.

it's working on demo site?
I try it and in simulation and it's not working. i put "Skip current item if" "category_id" is equal to 455
I can only skip items that "is equal to", is there any way to have and "is NOT equal to"?
Otherwise i must exclude all the other category and it's not safe.

Category SEO - When creating Categories can it also use the category name as the SEO name (replacing spaces with underscores) , also fill in the 'Meta Tag Title' with the Category names as this is a required field.

Yes the name can be used in multiple fields, you can use the replace function to get underscores instead of spaces.

Hi, i'm really interested to buy this extension too, i only need you add opencart's custom fields in customers import tool. I created 3 custom fields to show during registration process (Tax ID, Vat and and type of customer) and i need to import these data too for my customers.
Another thing i would like to have is Orders export tool.

The directory univ_import_cron.php is not allowed to be written to!

This is caused by no rights on your opencart base directory.
You can upload using manual method by ftp described in docs, or if you want to upload via extension installer you can first open the zip and remove this file (you will need to upload it by ftp if you need to use cron).

Hi. I just purchased this module but it is not working with opencart 3.0.2.0.. When will this extension work with the latest Opencart version? (3.0.2.0). I tried installing it via the extension installer but it won't install.

Hi, actually no but I could add that, but in mail it will work only with not too big exports, or maybe you want just a link to the export inside the mail?

In demo only 2 product images fields are allowed, can i add more, like image2, image3, image4....?

Unlimited image fields are allowed, just click on "Add Column" just next the additional image field. All fields that can have multiple values have this add column button to insert extra fields.

Hello Team,
This extension is very close to my requirement. We have products feeds up to 100MB each file size IN XML/CSV format. Few feeds has more than 200000 products. Will this support? We are 2.1.0.2 and VQ mode.
I tried demo for one feed but nothing happened with this. If this works as per your requirement then i'll purchase it immediately. Please tell me the support terms, if any.

Hi, we are interested in that module. Our multistore has 4 stores and about 50 000 products. We will buy your module if it has these features:
1. Cron job (automatically update products on selected time).
2. Set quantity to 0 for products that doesnt exist in XML anymore, instead of products that is not from the same feed or inserted manually.
3. Fast update is essencial. How long (approx.) does 50 000s product update takes?
4. Possibillity to add multiple categories.
5. Multistore and multilanguage.
6. All product images is downloaded in server. Is it possible to import products and change the path of images (for example, if product model is A512254, the path of images would be images/catalog/products/A5/12/25/4/image.jpg). Or maybe it is possible to specify product image path in XML feed? Could you do this modification? I think that it is neccessary, because of performace when you have about 1 000 000 images in one folder.

Hi,
1. Yes, last update is handling cron jobs, demo is outdated I will update it in a few hours
2. Yes, this is possible, in case products not in import file you can choose to delete, disable, or set quantity to 0 on them.
3. I always do all the possible to optimize performance, actually 50k products are updated in approximately 50 minutes for csv file, and 3,5 hours for xml/xls files.
It is a lot slower on xml/xls files, I will try to improve performance soon.
4. Indeed, there is many ways to handle the categories.
5. Yes full multistore and multilanguage support.
6. Yes, products images can be automatically transferred to server. You can define a specific path but it will be the same for all your images actually, I can made a function to format it in the way you want. The module can also replicate the image path from the source url, for example if your source url is like /A5/12/25/4/image.jpg then the module can just use the same structure when it will copy it on local server.

If you're store is multi language and I use also the complete seo package does it update the seo names of all products in all languages? Example: Mysore.com/product-in-english and Mysore.com/product-in-dutch

Yes, if you have Complete SEO Package installed the module will detect it and automatically add the specific fields of this module, so you can import multi-lingual urls, titles, metas, etc.

Hi, yes the module is capable of detecting if a product exists and update it if you want so and if not detected it creates the product, or if you only want to create new products it can too.
