Description
This extension auto-selects a default value for options.

It does 2 simple things:
- when you open a product page, it selects automatically a default value for option of type 'select' and 'radio buttons' that are required. The selected value is the first of the list (the one that is marked with the lowest sort order in this option admin page). You can change the sort order of an option by going in your opencart admin account and navigating in : Catalog => Options => click on 'Edit' the option => Change the sort order numbers of the different option values.
- if a user on the front page clicks on 'Add to cart' on a product that has required options, it selects automatically a default value for those required options so that it actually adds the product to the cart instead of opening the product page.

Installation
Download and unzip the file on your computer.
In your opencart admin, go to Extensions > Extension Installer, upload the .ocmod.xml file. Then go in Extensions > Modifications and click on 'Refresh' (the blue button in the top right part of the screen)

Support
The extension might not work out-of-the-box with all themes (the Journal2, for example, because it changes the way the product options are displayed on the product page), contact us and we will provide a fix so that your theme plays well with the auto-select extension.
