Unfortunately, opencart doesn't provide this basic and valuable features in default opencart build platform. Here we, from maestrocart, have introduced this tremendous products block features.

Recently Viewed products block allow your customers to see their recently viewed products. Your customers no longer need to search their browser history when trying to find products they had just recently viewed.
Most Popular products block allow your customers to see your store's most popular products which frequently purchases by your customers.
On Sale products blocks allow your customer to see your store's on sale products whose products price will be lower slashed by you especially for the customers.
Most Rated products block allow your customers to see those products which are highly or poorly star rated by customers so that they can buy their desirable products from your store.
Latest products block allow your customers to see store's newly or latest added product by store owners.
Custom products block allow your customers to see those product which is customized by store owner by min/max price and manufacturer based on categories.
Manual products block allow your customers to see those products for which store owner wants to divert their customer's eye or mind for particular products lists.
