even language management does not work properly with journal3, and then because it puts the folder written /en-gb/ correct is only /en/

I am migrating between websites currently and I was wondering if this could redirect users looking for "domain.com/products/dodge" to "domain.com/dodge" through the use of this program. My goal is to minimize the SEO damage from migration by using the same links to access the new locations.

HappinessOfficer

HappinessOfficer 7 years ago

Hello there,
Thanks for reaching out.
Our SEO Backpack module won't be able to help you with the URL redirects in the migration process. For this you will need to do a 301 redirects. Here is more information on how you can do that - https://isenselabs.com/posts/opencart-url-redirect SEO Backpack will be able to help you if on your new website there is no structured information, if your links are not the same etc. More information about it you will be able to find in it's demo here - http://seobackpack.demo.isenselabs.com/ :)

<meta property="product:price:currency" content="USD" />

as visible in our both of our demos.

Also plays well with FB: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/?q=http%3A%2F%2Fseobackpack.demo.isenselabs.com%2Foc3%2F40-iphone-product-11

Please add: ID and the language ID like :idlangidcategory or idlangidmanufacture
Donot: idlang-idcategory (with out "-" charactor would be better)
=======
- Improvement: The random string suffix to a slug, when the currently created URL already exists, is now refactored. Instead of 5-6 random numbers with no meaning, the suffix now includes the product/category/information/manufacturer ID and the language ID

nhoangnam

nhoangnam 7 years ago

And please check SSL proplem too, my website have sll proplem with home page and category page.
==========
- Improvement: The Page Crawler now works even on stores where there is an SSL certificate but it is not set up correctly

iSense

iSense 7 years ago

Not sure we completely understand what you mean but if there is a duplicate page (for example ipad1-30), where the language is 1 and 30 stands for the product iD you want it to be 130 without the dash?

In terms of the SSL issue, please open a support ticket and we will help you fix this.

Are you working on a more general approach of redirects via Opencart?

It seems to be impossible to set up redirects from domain.com/feed/test1 to domain.com/feeds/test2. Or from index.php?route=feed/test1 to index.php?route=extension/feed/test1 or even domain.com/feed/test1.

iSense

iSense 7 years ago

1. From the default non-SEO URLS, like account/account, information/contact, etc, to a more user-friendly URLS.
2. From 404 pages to an actual pages in your website.
If in the examples that you are showing us, the URLs are non-existent, i.e. with 404 status, then the module should work as expected.

On any rate, did you try opening a support ticket via https://isenselabs.com/tickets/open

Hi, I have a blog extension that has settings for META and SEO for both the blog home page and blog pages. Can your SEO backpack auto-generate those for it?

iSense

iSense 7 years ago

Hello and thanks for your interest in SEO Backpack.

No, our module is covering Products, Categories, Information Pages and Manufacturers. Since you have a third-party extension, which is not a part of a default OpenCart installation, our module will not support it out of the box. However, we can make a customized version of SEO Backpack for you, which will work with your blog module. For more info please reach out to us via sales[.at.]isenselabs.com

In the custom url redirects section, does it support redirects to sub-folder strutures? So from domain.com/index.php?route=test/test?id=22 to domain.com/test/test/22 ?

iSense

iSense 7 years ago

What you need to do is first locate the route of the page. For instance, this page http://example.com/index.php?route=custom/special has a route custom/special Then go to the module settings and access URLs & Linking > Custom URL Redirects > Add New Custom URL and fill in the form as:

OpenCart Route: custom/special
URL Address: custom_special.
After that, you will be able to access that page from this URL http://example.com/custom_special
