Default sort order by date added - VQMOD
This extension deals with category, manufacturer, search and special pages. It changes the default sort order to show the latest products first.
It also fixes the problem with sort order after switching to some other order and coming back to default.
This is a VQMOD extension. You should have installed VQMOD first.
(You can test it with other versions also.)
