Description:

This MOD adds class active to the clicked top menu item. It works with default opencart theme.


Installation notes:

OCMOD - Install the file "Active_top_menu.ocmod.xml" through opencart "extensions -> extension installer" if you don´t have ftp access or if you you prefer this method. After that don´t forget to click refresh button in "extensions -> modifications" in right upper corner.

or (not both)

VQMOD - You must have intalled Vqmod. If you have ftp access just copy the file "Active_top_menu.vqmod.xml" into "/vqmod/xml" or upload it through any VQMod manager in your admin.


Important!

Also file "recommended_styles.css" is included. Please, include the content of that file into your stylesheet.css (If you are using default opencart theme, it is located at /catalog/view/theme/default/stylesheet/stylesheet.css) and edit it if you need (change colour of the font and background).


Version without CSS:

If you dont´t understand css well, you dont´t need to use included css. Just install module from directory "version_without_css". But in that xml file you may need to edit colour of your selected menu (background and colour).
