This extension provides a Google Analytics 4 ecommerce tracking.

It supports tracking of:

1. Pageview events
   
2. Cart events
   
3. Checkout Steps events
   
4. Purchase events

Requirements

You need to have an account with Google Analytics 4, see https://analytics.google.com for more details.

This extension uses OpenCart event handlers, there is no need for OCmod or VQmod modification systems.


Installation

In the OpenCart admin backend do the following:

1. Go to Extensions > Installer to upload this ocmod.zip file
   
2. Go to Extensions > Extensions > Analytics > Google Analytics 4 for ECommerce Events to install and edit this module. Enter your Measurement ID, and enable wanted ecommerce events and the status.
   
3. Go to System > Users > User Groups > edit Administrator and make sure to set the access and modify rights for the 'extension/analytics/gtag'.

Further help and customized versions

This software has been successfully tested for a standard OpenCart 4.0.2.3 release. It should also work for other OpenCart 4.0.x.x releases.
