This extension enhances the search functionality of an OpenCart store by providing smart suggestions as users type in the search bar.
This extension shows instant search suggestions as you start typing a relevant product keyword string.
It helps users find products quickly and easily.

Features Explained with an Example

Smart Suggestions in Real-Time

As a user types a keyword in the search bar, relevant product suggestions appear instantly.
Example: If a user types "phone", the search will suggest products such as iPhone 13, Samsung Galaxy S22, OnePlus 10, etc.

Add to Cart Directly from Search Results

If a product does not require selecting additional options (like size or color), users can add it to the cart directly from the search suggestions.
Example: If a user searches "USB Cable" and the product has no mandatory options, an "Add to Cart" button will appear next to it in the suggestions.

Displays Product Options When Required

If a product has mandatory options, like selecting size, color, or storage, the user will be prompted to choose them.
Example: Searching for "T-shirt" will display the available sizes (S, M, L, XL) and colors (Red, Blue, Black) before allowing it to be added to the cart.

Category Matching in Search Suggestions

Apart from product suggestions, categories related to the search term are displayed in a separate section.
Example: Searching for "Shoes" will not only show individual shoe products but also display category suggestions like Men’s Shoes, Women’s Shoes, Sports Shoes.

This extension works seamlessly with OpenCart Multi-Store, and with major themes, including journal theme.
