PayPal Checkout Integration v3.2.2 is already installed on OpenCart v4.1.0.3 issues:
1. Please fix the vaulted card; it displays an invisible use vaulted card button, unable to see which card was vaulted to use at checkout
NOTE: PayPal Support says the OpenCart developer needs to change in SDK). We, as end-user OpenCart, can not change the vaulted card button to, more visible color.
2. PayPal Checkout Integration, put the different price in the PayPal Checkout page as a handling fee instead of refreshing the updated shopping cart value under that same order_id?
NOTE: PayPal Support says the OpenCart developer needs to clear the PayPal Order: Ensure that if items are removed after clicking “Pay with PayPal,” the checkout page is refreshed, or the customer re-enters it to create a new PayPal order. The developer can mitigate this by ensuring that the paypal_order_id is unset whenever the cart contents change.

Hello, I am using Opencart 3.0.3.2 and the current version of the plugin. Does it support recurring payments, via the native Opencart recurring payments method?

When I add tracking information and select "Notify Customer", PayPal receives the tracking number, but no notification email is sent. All other emails from OpenCart (for example order confirmations) are properly sent so I believe it's an issue with this extension. No errors are logged. Do you have idea why this is happening? I also logged a bug in GitHub but I haven't seen any responses there to previous ones that I have logged. Thanks for your help!

Hi,
I’m following up regarding an issue I originally reported a few months ago with the PayPal Commerce Platform (v3.2.3).
Issue description:
- When some customers attempt to check out using the PayPal extension, something in the process confuses them.
- They don’t receive a clear success/failure message, so they assume the payment has not gone through.
- As a result, they try again using another payment method available on our site.
- This leads to duplicate orders being paid for - one through PayPal, and another through the alternate method.
- The system does not notify the customer that the PayPal payment was successful, even though the order and payment were processed.
I’m growing frustrated at having to repeatedly refund duplicate orders, (which the fees are not refunded!) so I would really appreciate if someone could properly investigate this.
I have emailed last week support@opencart.com and also added this issue last week to github: https://github.com/Dreamvention/paypal

I am using OpenCart version 4.1.0.3. In the Google PageSpeed test, under the "Best Practices" section, I see the following warning:
"Event handler removal support is deprecated and will be removed."
This warning points to the file /sdk/js?components=…:2:107746 (www.paypal.com), indicating that the PayPal SDK is outdated and is reducing the site score by 18%.
Will there be an update to address this issue?

We have opencart Version 3.0.3.8, Paypal integration v3.2.3, when customer pays the opencart system acknowledges the order and payment and send notification to customer, however every time a new customer pays the system will again send a notification of payment received to every person who has placed an order in the last 24 hours, even if we have posted the item and we have changed the status to posted

My biggest problem with this extension and the Square extension is that they do not support Multisite setups in v4 and above. IF this could be figured out that would be great, but the developers from these extension and the developers from the payment gateways DO NOT TALK TO EACH OTHER. I get it, I'm a developer, I don't like to talk to people, but you guys should!

I have installed and configured the Paypal Extension. We have enabled multiple payment buttons including Google Pay. Apple pay has confirmed the domain in the paypal payment methods section on the paypal website and we have uploaded the .well-known file correctly to help with the domain validation. I have enabled Apple Pay in the extension settings and it shows on the payment method list however no button displays. The area where the button should go displays a spinning circle and then nothing. I have tried viewing on apple devices that has apple cards. Can you help?

Typically PayPal just works. But in Version 4.0.2.3 the plugin fails to return a confirmation page. It also doesn't connect during setup unless you use manual. But the Customer confirmation page will cause people to pay again or call for help. This just needs to work to be useable.

I logged a bug in GitHub but haven't seen a response. I've noticed that if a purchase is made with Google Pay or Apple Pay, the shipping address and contact info often are not sent to PayPal with the transaction. Does anyone know of a solution for this?

Hello opencart Support Team, I am using OpenCart version 4.1.2.3 and I'm encountering an issue while trying to connect PayPal in Sandbox mode. When I attempt to link the account, I’m shown a screen asking for the email address, country selection, and password. After submitting the information, I receive a message saying the account has been successfully connected. However, the page does not redirect back to the store. When I manually go back to the store, I find that PayPal is not enabled, and it seems like the connection process was not completed. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue. Thank you.
